Questions, problems or feedback: email info@yambacode.com. Tell us which Mac and macOS version you use, and never send us your DNA file.
Getting started
- Try it first: open Chat and load the built-in sample genome, no DNA file needed.
- AI model: on first use, DNA2C downloads its AI model once (about 4.7 GB). After that, questions are answered on your Mac.
- Your own data: download the raw data file from 23andMe or AncestryDNA (a .txt file; unzip it first) and load it on the Upload page.
Purchases
Bought in the Mac App Store: DNA2C Pro is a one-time in-app purchase tied to your Apple Account. To unlock it again after reinstalling or on another Mac, open Upgrade and click Restore Purchases. Apple handles payment and refunds: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Bought on dna2c.com: if you lost your license key, email us from the address you paid with. Refunds are described on the refund page.
Your data
Your genome stays on your Mac, encrypted with the passphrase you choose when you load your own file. We never see your data or your passphrase, so it can't be recovered. If you forget it, email us and we'll help you reset DNA2C so you can load your file again. More in the privacy policy.
Not medical advice
DNA2C is for education only. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. Raw data from consumer DNA tests can miss or misreport important variants, so confirm any health concern with clinical testing and talk to your doctor or a genetic counselor.
